What is A Doula?
We are professional Birth Doulas trained to assist expectant Mamas throughout their pregnancy and beyond. What exactly does that mean? Well, as doulas we provide physical, emotional, and informational support to women during pregnancy, labor & delivery, and immediately after your Little One is born. Our role during your pregnancy is to ensure you have tips to be more comfortable, feel heard & supported, and have resources to make necessary decisions about your health. During labor & delivery our role is to assist through the birthing process, ensuring a healthy, liberating experience.
Additionally for Mama's seeking support during their Postpartum healing; as Postpartum Doulas we provide physical, emotional, and intellectual support during the first few weeks of postpartum recovery, with the goal of taking care of Mom and nurturing the entire family as everyone is adjusting.
